Candlelight Lodge was built in 1958 and is one of Thredbo's original guest houses. Since that time it has tripled in size and undergone many re-furbishments, whilst still retaining it's original charm of yesteryear.

With a reputation for warm European hospitality and comfortable accommodation, Candlelight Lodge remains one of Thredbo's legendary places to stay, visit or enjoy a meal. It's owner Hubert Engel has been part of Thredbo since 1974 and has owned Candlelight Lodge since 1978.
